Expansions (Volume 7): The Book of Wisdom
The servants of Al-Raḥmān live balanced between space and time. They are neither easterly nor westerly, neither earthly nor heavenly, but in the middle of all of these in time and space. However, in order to maintain this position, they must first fulfill their duties of remembrance, gratitude, and obedience. He gives wisdom unto whom He pleases and whosoever the wisdom is given to, he indeed is given a lot of good, but none does remember except the people of the heart. (The Quran, chapter The Cow, 2:269)
